FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Useful answers before you start a project.

Every project is different, but these answers explain how HIVEWORX LLC approaches the first conversation.

Where is HIVEWORX LLC located, and what areas do you serve?

HIVEWORX LLC is based in Delaware. Local and regional work can be evaluated directly, while projects suited to remote planning or shipment may be handled beyond the immediate area. Contact us with the location and project scope so we can confirm what is practical.

What kinds of projects do you take on?

Current capabilities include rapid prototyping, 3D printing, functional and replacement parts, small-batch production, product-development support, custom fabrication, printer setup, printer maintenance and troubleshooting, and multi-printer installation or consulting.

Do I need a finished 3D model before contacting you?

No. A useful starting point may be a design file, sketch, photograph, damaged part, measurements, or simply a clear description of what the result needs to do. The amount of design work required will be evaluated as part of the scope.

Can you help choose a material?

Yes. Material recommendations depend on use conditions such as load, heat, moisture, flexibility, appearance, outdoor exposure, and expected service life. The selected option and its tradeoffs will be confirmed for each project.

Do you make one-off parts and small quantities?

Yes. One-off functional parts, prototypes, replacement components, and limited production quantities are a core part of the HIVEWORX LLC model. Feasibility depends on design, material, dimensions, and quantity.

Can you set up or troubleshoot my 3D printer?

HIVEWORX LLC provides printer assembly, setup, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrade, and installation support. Share the printer model, current condition, symptoms, and location when contacting us.

How are projects priced?

Pricing is based on the actual scope: design effort, material, machine time, finishing, quantity, installation requirements, travel, and technical support. HIVEWORX LLC reviews the available information before confirming a quote or recommended next step.

How long will my project take?

Turnaround varies with complexity, iteration, material availability, quantity, and the current production schedule. If there is a firm deadline, include it in the initial inquiry so feasibility can be evaluated early.

What should I send with my inquiry?

Include the intended use, approximate size, quantity, deadline, location, and any files, drawings, photographs, or measurements you already have. Before sharing confidential or sensitive design information, tell us that confidentiality requirements need to be discussed.

Still not sure whether the project fits?

Describe the problem and the result you need. A complete specification is not required for the first conversation.
